 Chris McKeown is a specialist Australian aviation barrister.

He was called to The Bar in 1989.

 

Chris McKeownHe appears in all mainland State and Commonwealth jurisdictions. In some circumstances Chris is able to deal directly with clients and is otherwise pleased to deal with solicitors.

Areas of Practise

He specialises in Australian Aviation Law, and then prefers briefs in Criminal Defence work, Administrative Appeals and Commercial Law.

 

 

Australian Aviation Law work can include:

  • CASA medical certificate issues.
  • CASA licence suspension or cancellation.
  • AOC suspension, cancellation or variation.
  • Inquests involving aircraft accidents. 
  • Defence of criminal proceedings for alleged breaches of Australian air laws.  
  • Advice work involving matters touching Australian general aviation.
